Here at the studio, we dress in an eclectic, creative fashion so as to spark our design process for the long-haul days we work. My co-collaborator and close friend, Sarah, from Montreal, never ceases to amaze me with her vintage collection of soft leather boots and sheer socks. Moreover, only few woman can pull off the ripped tights look and get away with it looking fabulous. Props, my dear! Here we are posing on a sidewalk amongst traffic in San Francisco’s Russian Hill district.

AND…. it’s Friday! Some rain, a lot of work, one bike ride, warm sunshine, extra hot coffee, and a night of girly TV in bed with one of my roommates. Not too shabby of a week. Recently I have made more of an effort to carry my bigger camera with me when I step outside. Here are some of things that made me smile this week.

I have a very edited list of blogs I trust and follow. On the top of that list? The Sartorialist (http://www.thesartorialist.com/). Scott Schuman documents daily life in one of the world’s most fashionable cities, New York. He is able to capture the most pristine color and unimaginable patterns amongst strangers on the sidewalk, strangers climbing out of taxis, and strangers talking on their cell phones outside the office. He makes the world seem so well-dressed. I encourage you to take a few minutes and watch the video below for some photographic/creative inspiration.
